This workshop introduces you to the fascinating world of Arduino-based mobile apps. Arduino is an open-source project that includes low-cost electronic components with an easy-to-understand programming language - ideal for prototyping electronic products and services commonly referred to as "Internet of Things" applications and "Connected Devices". You will also learn how to use a "drag-n-drop mobile app builder" that will allow you to publish your project to either Apple's App Store or Google Play.
For the practical component of this workshop, we will use an already available app framework to create a fully functional mobile app that includes a 2-way connection to your Arduino project.
This workshop is offered as part of a program focused on developing new solutions addressing the challenges of Urban Mobility and Smart CIties and funded by EIT Urban Mobility. More information on EIT Urban Mobility at: https://www.eiturbanmobility.eu/
