Many of the solutions needed to effectively meet future challenges have yet to be developed and cities will need to work more closely with start-ups and innovators on their development and implementation. The need for speedy implementation, combined with increased interest amongst cities and municipalities in working with startups have resulted in new forms and models of collaboration.
To help address this and other challenges, UnternehmerTUM, the Entrepreneurship Center of the Technical University of Munich, EIT Urban Mobility and the Munich Urban Colab are organizing a series of virtual, public sessions on challenges, funding and the exchange of ideas in the Urban Mobility & Smart Cities space. This project focuses on matchmaking between cities/municipalities and start-ups that are developing solutions to address increasingly complex urban needs. By connecting these two ecosystems, we hope to accelerate the implementation of promising new ideas being developed by startups across the globe.
In this webinar, Urbantech expert Damian Wagner-Herold and Vincent Zenkner will be interviewing experts and representatives from the following cities and municipalities , who will be presenting areas in which they are scouting for solutions as well as their visions of the changes in the coming years:
