Thanks to the dual extruder technology it's not only possible to print 2-colour models but also 1-colour models with water-soluble support structures (PVA). This opens up completely new options of manufacturing and post-processing, especially with filigree hollow structures, narrow gaps or convoluted parts.
In this extension course you learn how to import 3D models into the software Ultimaker Cura and, if necessary, to modify and change parameters and then print them using the Ultimaker® S5. You will learn all the essential information and knowledge that will enable you to use the machine with various requirements.
What you can do after this 3D printing extension course:
Use Ultimaker® S5 3D printer in MakerSpace
Prepare your own 3D models or 3D parts downloaded from the Internet using the Cura software
Print 3D models with the filaments PLA, TPU 95A and water-soluble PVA
Use the possibilities of 3D printing technology for the implementation of your ideas in model construction, design, for spare parts, etc.
This course is a prerequisite for using the 3D printers independently in MakerSpace!
