Learn the basics of the milling and drilling machine!

In this safety and basic function course, you will not only learn the fundamentals but also the dangers of working with the milling and drilling machine. 

The FP1 universal milling and drilling machine uses a rotating cutting tool to remove material by cutting. Through three axes, complex shapes can be made. 

To apply the learned functions directly, a pen holder will be made in the course.

 

This course is a prerequisite to use the milling and drilling machine independently in the MakerSpace!

Safety notice: Please do not wear any arm jewelry/bracelets, scarves, wide sleeves, or other loose clothing to the course! + Note for people with long hair: Please bring hair ties!

4 hours

 

Minimum Age

  • 16 years
  • For young people between the ages of 16 and 18, a declaration of consent from a legal guardian is required.

Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times in the workshop. Failure to comply will result in denial of access to the MakerSpace.
