Learn the stylish surface treatment!

Powder coating is a simple and environmentally friendly method for making workpieces durable and decorative. First, sandblasting removes old coatings, rust, and a portion of the base material. This process cleans, roughens, and prepares the surface for powder coating. During powder coating, dry paint particles are applied to the workpiece using electrostatic charge. In the curing oven, the powder is baked, sealing the surface of the workpiece.

In this safety and basic functionality course, participants will learn the safe handling and operation of the sandblasting cabinet, the powder spray gun, the hanging booth, and the curing oven.

If you have already completed the MT-001 course | Metal Workshop for Beginners – Cutting, Drilling, and Grinding, bring your bottle opener and coat it in this course.
