CNC wood milling made easy!
In this safety and basic functions course, you will learn the fundamentals of CNC milling, safe operation, and how to use the “Hammer 47.82” CNC router. You’ll practice importing external data into Autodesk Fusion 360 and then generating the CNC toolpaths needed for production on the machine. The knowledge you gain will be applied directly by milling a laptop stand.
What you’ll be able to do on our Hammer CNC after the course:
Bring projects to life that require the highest precision.
Design components on the computer and have them manufactured automatically by the CNC router.
Create 3D shapes that can serve, for example, as base forms for vacuum forming.
You can also download the Eding CNC control software to your own PC in advance, test it, and even simulate toolpaths! More at https://edingcnc.com/download-software/
Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for independently using the CNC wood routers in the MakerSpace.
This course is also a prerequisite for the Felder H200 course!
