Become a CAM expert for the Haas VF‑2!

This safety and fundamentals course introduces the handling and operation of Autodesk Fusion and applies the most important machining strategies using defined processes tailored to individual components. A workpiece is transformed into NC code using suitable milling operations. To ensure process and machine safety, a complete machine simulation is carried out for collision checking.

Successful completion of this software training is a prerequisite for independently using the HAAS VF‑2 CNC milling and drilling machine in the MakerSpace.

Minimum Age

16 years
For teenagers between 16 and 18, a parent or legal guardian’s consent is required.

Prerequisites

English language
Prior knowledge of CAD and CNC software is desirable.

Safety Notice

Closed shoes must be worn in the workshop at all times. If this requirement is not met, access to the MakerSpace will be denied.
