What is it about? Your team will work together to build a Rube Goldberg machine — a chain reaction that solves a simple task in the most complicated way possible. Each small group is responsible for one section of the machine, which must transition seamlessly into the next. This project requires precise coordination, communication, and creativity.

What is it about? Experience design thinking with the Makerspace Kitchen Challenge. Design the ideal physical kitchen tool for someone on your team—focus on their individual needs and surprise them with a physical product they'll never want to be without again. Discover all facets of design thinking in less than four hours. You will also have the opportunity to build and optimize your prototypes within an hour in our workshop using the available machines.

What is it about? These courses focus on getting to know the machines: laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, or vinyl plotters – depending on the course module. Instead of an individual project, you will produce a standardized object, such as a key ring, a small organizer, or a pegboard game. The goal is not creative implementation, but practical understanding: How does the machine work? What do I need to prepare? Which materials are suitable?
In two to four hours, you will learn the basics of file preparation, how to use the device safely, and the common pitfalls – so that you can continue working independently afterwards. Of course, you can take the finished object home with you – as a souvenir and as a starting point for your own ideas.
