G EL 004 E PCB design with Ki CAD English B

G-EL-004E | PCB design with KiCAD (English) (B)

Heads up: Switching from Eagle to KiCAD Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are the foundation of modern electronics. They hold components in place, provide mechanical stability, and create the electrical connections that make everything work — making them an essential part of virtually every electronic device. In this course, you'll gain hands-on experience with the open-source PCB design software KiCad. Starting with your first schematic all the way through to a fully laid-out board, you'll develop a two-layer PCB step by step — building real confidence and a clear understanding of the entire PCB design process along the way.

Design your own PCB!

In this course, you'll build confidence and hands-on skills with the PCB design software KiCad. You'll get a clear, approachable introduction to the schematic editor, working in the board layout, and the core features that guide you through the entire design process — one step at a time.

Beyond creating your own schematics, you'll also learn how to build custom components and libraries. You'll discover how to export Gerber files to have your board professionally manufactured. From your first symbol to the final layout, you'll develop a two-layer PCB throughout the course — and walk away with the knowledge and confidence to bring your own projects to life.
