Explore the basics of laser cutting!

The laser cutter is an incredibly versatile tool that allows you to cut, engrave, and shape a wide range of materials, including plastics, glass, metal, and natural products such as wood, leather, or even food. In combination with Inkscape, you can create complex designs and detailed engravings with ease – the machine takes care of the precise work for you.

In this safety and fundamentals course, you’ll learn step by step how to operate the Epilog FusionPro laser cutter safely and confidently.

By the end of the training, you’ll take home your own personalized wooden project – a custom phone stand that you designed and produced yourself on the laser cutter.

That’s just the beginning. After completing the course, you’ll be able to use the laser cutter for:

  • Engraving or marking almost any material

  • Cutting materials up to one centimeter thick

  • Exploring 3D laser‑cutting techniques

  • Creating models and prototypes for creative or technical projects

This course is a prerequisite for using the laser cutters independently in MakerSpace.

By women, for women - this course is open exclusively to women.
