This extremely versatile, easy-to-program, low-waste machine is ideal for producing complex two-dimensional shapes using a variety of materials. Learn the safe handling and operation of the waterjet cutter!
This safety and basic function course (SBFC) will instruct you in the safe handling and operation of soldering irons and the electronic workbench (AC/DC power supply, multimeter, etc.). In addition, this course provides an introduction to basic concepts of electricity and circuit engineering enabling participants to assemble components into basic circuits and perform simple electrical measurements.
Wood is a sustainable building material with a wide range of applications. In this course you will learn the safe handling of fundamental woodworking machines by the independent production of a wooden shelf. Appropriate techniques, which serve as a basis for the rapid and secure implementation of creative ideas, are also conveyed in a vivid manner.
The laser cutter is a versatile tool with which various materials can be cut, engraved and marked. With the Adobe Illustrator graphic software laser cutting of complicated designs and laser engraving of detailed images are taken over by the machine at the touch of a button. Get to know the operation of the laser cutter and the different laser techniques!
In our metal workshop you can use various machines to process different kinds of metal in a variety of ways. The basic matal workshop course teaches you the safe handling and operation of various metalworking machines for cutting, drilling and grinding!
3D Printing is the creation of physical objects directly from CAD data. Thanks to rapid advances in 3D Printing, it is becoming one of the easiest and most cost-effective options for the production of prototypes and small production runs.
Stereolithography is a technical principle of rapid prototyping/manufacturing in which a workpiece is built up layer by layer. In this course, you will learn about this light-based process in which individual layers of a model are built up with polymer liquid resin and cured by a laser beam!
