Become a leather specialist!
This course gives you an overview of the different types of leather and a basic knowledge of how to work with them. The wide range of machines at MakerSpace offers you unlimited possibilities for further leather processing (e.g. laser cutter). During the leatherworking course, you will make a small wallet to learn how to use the spindle press, hole punch, groove puller, row punch, round awl, silver mine and other tools. We will also practise a saddler's seam (hand sewing with two needles) on the sewing block / sewing horse.

Age Requirements
- This course can be taken by children aged 12 and older.
- Children between 12 and 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- For young people between the ages of 16 and 18, the written consent of a parent or guardian is required.

Safety Requirements
Closed shoes must be worn in the workshop at all times. Access to MakerSpace will be denied in case of non-compliance.
