Join us on Thursday, July 23rd for a hands-on workshop exploring the wonders of bamboo—a versatile, eco-friendly material used by humans for over 40 centuries.

Led by Dr. Hungwei Lee, an assistant professor and fourth-generation bamboo expert from Taiwan, you will discover the unique properties of Moso and Makino bamboo and learn how it is used in modern, sustainable design. After a brief introduction to industrial and artistic techniques, you will get hands-on and weave your own small bamboo basket to take home.

No prior experience is necessary. Come ready to discuss, create, and explore the future of sustainable design!
